This policy explains how PockeTrip, made by BenTem Studio, handles information. The short version: we don't collect your personal data, we don't track you, and we never store an exact location.

1. Who we are
PockeTrip is developed by BenTem Studio ("we," "us"). You can reach us any time at bentemstudio@gmail.com.
2. Information stored on your device
PockeTrip is a personal travel diary. The content you create — trip titles, dates, notes, the places you add, badges you earn, and any photos you choose — is stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that receive or hold this content, and we cannot see it.
3. Location
If you choose to tag an entry with a location, PockeTrip may ask for permission to access your device location while you are using the app. We use it only to place a friendly marker on the map.
We do not store your latitude and longitude. The precise coordinates are converted, on your device, into a general region name and an approximate position on a world map (a normalized x/y point). The exact coordinates are discarded and never saved or transmitted. You can use most of the app without granting location access by adding places manually.
4. Photos and camera
If you add a photo, PockeTrip requests access to your camera or photo library so you can pick or take a picture for your diary. Selected photos are stored within the app on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to any third party.
5. What we do not do
- We do not require or create user accounts.
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information.
6. Children's privacy
PockeTrip is designed to be safe for children and families. Because the app does not collect personal information, require accounts, or transmit your content or location off the device, it is built to align with children's privacy standards such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We intentionally avoid collecting precise location from anyone, including children. If you are a parent or guardian and have any questions, please contact us at bentemstudio@gmail.com.
7. Deleting your information
Because your data lives only on your device, you remain in control of it. Deleting individual entries within the app removes them, and deleting the app removes all PockeTrip data from your device. If you need help, email us.
8. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
